Possible proof I was dropped on my head as a child. Often.

Sometimes, my left foot hates me. This is highlighted by it's ability to go from dry to soaking in several steps. I think it may be a ninja foot, skilled in the art of making me feel like i'm squelching along bare footed. Perhaps next time I should, this would save me lots of money, and effort. Shoes are annoying.

Magpies are also annoying, they make me nervous when they wander around alone, like they're just waiting to swoop down and bring you bad luck. If you believe in all that jazz, which I do.

Lone magpies and soggy feet are not a good way to start your day, toast would've been much more appreciated. I like toast. I don't like having twenty minutes of chaos first thing in the morning. Work, this is what you reduce me to.

To sum up: soggy feet: bad. Solo magpies sitting on your gate aparently mocking you: bad. Your best friend and her mother finding your ability to cause chaos wherever you go amusing: priceless. Or something like that.
