ah

hello blog, I fear I may have been neglecting you for the sunshine, my bad! You should forgive me, though, because it's very rare there is sunshine in Birmingham. It's almost on miracle level. Yay.

This week has been spent soaking in the sunshine, barbequeing (food more than my skin, hello factor 50!) and having a jolly good time :). I've also been playing age of empires. A game I may be coming obsessed with. If you like that sort of thing, try it. Now. It's amaazing!

I don't have much to say today, just felt it was time I got back to typing, I missed using words to amuse myself, this is one of my favourite pastimes. I love just sitting and typing anything that comes to mind, even if it doesn't make much sense, which it rarely does. Words are good. However, streaky tan is not. I'm sitting here looking lke the human version of a piece of streaky bacon, this happens when your fake tan decides it wants to punish you for neglecting it, or something. Streaky is so the new 'hot' look. I'm bringing it back. (was it ever really even in? Gosh, I hope not. gross.)

I'm in the mood for lasertag. I have no idea what part of ridiculous heat and an overload of sunshine makes me think 'hm, i want to hide in a dark room and shoot people with beams and stuff' - maybe it's just my english side wanting an excuse to hide from the sunshine, and possibly my naturally pale skin wanting to save itself from sunburn. Which i've managed to avoid so far, this is about as much of a miracle as the sun beaming down is. Please don't let that of jinxed it, i'll be good, I promise, just please don't burn me sunshinee! :)

This week i've: Enoyed the sun, spent a lot of time lurking my best friends house, harrased half of the people I know to play cards / connect four / age of empires, and decided I much prefer being a brunette to a gingery blonde. Whoever said blondes had more fun, you were lying! brunettes do, mwuahahaha. Fact. Unless you're a blonde who's currently reading this while enjoying some wild party or something, then you're probably having more fun. But brunettes do it best ;)

Over and out, loveliees :)

Ohhh,, ANDDD

I got the most beautiful dress in the world earlier this week!
It's red, and maxified, with elbow length sleeves, a slightly shirred waist, and a tie.
I'd post a picture, but I just might be showing too much skin for some of you to handle in such a dress! Or i'm too lazy. Probably the latter. :)

I have absolutely no idea why I typed this in a new post, but oh well. I'm sure all of you avid readers will be pant-wettingly excited to see two posts on the same day. You know it made you squeal a little bit. You can admit it, I won't judge you. Much.

Adios, for real this time, mon amores :)

long live...

Weekends.
I don't care how much time off I have during the week, there's something exciting about weekends. Always. It comes to thursday night, and I instantly fill with joy at the prospect of the approaching weekend. Weekends are good. They're a time for being lazy purely because 'it's the weekend', a time to do whatever you want, without feeling guilt for spending your days procrastinating. Weekdays were made to work, weekends were made for fun.
What does my weekend entail this week, I hear you ask?
Ab-so-lutely nothing. This is good. This is very good. Aside from my knack for slotting words together to form wit and intelligence (sometimes), laziness is my favourite pastime. I excel at being lazy, doing absolutely nada is what I live for!
I also live for orange tango. All of the tangos are amazing, but orange is by far the best. I wonder if they sell orange tango in spain. I'd love to go there with the sole purpose of walking into a shop, looking a shop keeper dead in the eye and simply saying "Hola, un tango naranja, por favor" I'd give up a weekend of laziness for that! Now all I need is confirmation that orange tango is sold in spain, some money and a place to stay. And maybe a passport. That would probably come in handy. "My passport? Oh, I haven't got one. BUT YOU NEED TO LET ME GO..i want orange tango TANGO NARANJA, POR FAVOR!"...or something like that :)

I've had the worst toothache ever today. Well maybe not ever, I'm sure someone somewhere has suffered worse. If you're reading this: Hi, mouth sufferer, sorry for stealing your title! But yeah, my dentist and past dentist are both diabolical creatures. If you can't infact do things to benefit people in regards to their teeth, why are you sitting there claiming to be a dentist? Because you're a sorry excuse for a human who enjoy causing people pain, that's why!..or so I assume. They could just be lonely and in search of company. I don't know, I don't live in their brains.

I'd love to be a brain child. Like, an actual child that lives in a brain. Or maybe a brain post-teen, i've recently come to accept that my age is not something to mope about. After all, if I have a mid-life crisis at 21, then it could be a sign my future is quite bleak..and short. I want to live 'til atleast 101, just to reach triple figures, and then some.

Over and out :)

This week...

has been good.
I have fallen in love with a new little coffee shop. It sells nutella hot chocolate. If you ever have a chance to try nutella hot chocolate, you should, it's tres magnifique.
I also brought the prettiest maxi dress ever, which I may post a picture of later (if i can convince my father to let me hijack le camera, that is). Weeks I get paid are good. I love being able to shop, shopping is good.
I've also developed a love of KA black grape juice this week, it's beautiful with ice ice, babyy.
Lightheartedness aside for a minute, I had a moment of sheer annoyance this week I have the urge to rant about.

I was on the bus from town earlier this week, and there had been a crash, which resulted in the bus having to do a longer route, which resulted in people on the bus moaning. Now I don't know about you, but I personally felt a little bit of disgust at this. There's been a car crash severe enough to stop a ridiculous amount of traffic, in the middle of the city centre, and people are sitting complaining? Fair enough, you didn't bank on having to take a different route, and deal with tons of traffic, but come on! If it was because there was a cat sitting in the middle of the road, or a duck tap dancing and distracting people or something, then fair enough, moan away. Howevever, the idea that the majority of people care more about being 5 minutes late to wherever they're going than they do that people could've died mere metres away from them is absolutely appauling.
I don't expect to see people sitting wailing or anything, but showing basic respect for other human beings would be nice. How hard is it to think 'that's horrible, I hope the people involved are okay' instead of 'ugh, why did they have to crash today? I'm going to get caught in the after school rush doing my shopping'.
Basic. Human. Compassion. It doesn't cost a penny. Or much effort.

Rant over.

Adios, lovelies. Have a nice weekend. :)

Today...

the bad mood bug has caught me in it's annoyingly annoying grip. Don't you just love feeling all grr! for no appearent reason? I know I do! Oh hello, sarcasm.
It's possibly my sense of humour has disappeared, and has been replaced with a grumpy look. I don't like looking grumpy, I feel like it gives me wrinkles, beautiful. I mean, who doesn't want a nice ole wrinkly face at the ripe age of 21?! That mr sarcasm may have taken over my brain today, hello again, mr sarcasm. Is my head a nice little habitat for your sarcasticness? Muy marvelloso.
Ah, espanol, pretty words! This is the part i'd brag about being bi-lingual, but I'm not. Unless being able to say 'naranja' and 'potato' in several languages count. (the latter I can now also say in 'irish', thankyou mr keith lemon)

Today I have been: Reading. A lot. A whole book since this morning in fact, slow paced book readers eat your hearts out. Or not. That sounds messy, and unrealistic. I've also been attempting to rectify the mess I call hair. 'attempting' being the operative word. Oh, and annoying people. Annoying people is fun. When it's me annoying them, not so much when people annoy me. Then it's (DUN DUN DUUN) yes, you guessed it...annoying! Or you probably guessed it. Have a slightly imaginary cookie if you did..and hang your head in shame if you didn't. or don't, i like being unpredictable. I wish I was more unpredictable, maybe I should change things up a bit. But not too much, I only like to live on the edge sometimes.
Hello, waffle town, I am currently doing as your people do and waffling far too much.

Adios, interwebbers :)
